XPS physical foam board, also called extruded polystyrene foam (XPS, XPS extruded board). It is a foamed plastic that uses polystyrene as the main raw material, is injected and foamed with a multi-component foaming agent such as CO2 and additives through a two-stage extrusion system, and is extruded by a mold. The material is widely used in waterproof and thermal insulation of buildings and cold storage; anti-freezing and thermal insulation of roadbed projects such as highways, railways, airports, etc.; anti-frost heave materials for water conservancy projects; and central air-conditioning thermal insulation and other occasions. It is currently recognized as an environmentally friendly thermal insulation material in the market.
The XPS extrusion foaming (CO2) sheet production line provided by Qin Ding Company is a combination of two-stage foaming extrusion unit, automatic feeding system, combined foaming agent metering and injection system, and traction qualitative auxiliary equipment systems.

1. Two-stage extrusion unit

1.1, advanced extrusion system

75mm parallel twin-screw extruder, length-diameter ratio 44:1, maximum speed 400r/min. The heating adopts cast aluminum heater, with a total of 50kW in 7 zones. The machined copper adopts the whole alloy sleeve CNC machining, and the pressure resistance is 35MPa. The screw is forged and processed from high-speed tool steel with high wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The drive adopts high-torque flat double gearboxes of German technology, equipped with 110kW Siemens motor, which has the advantages of stable operation and reliable quality.

Automatic screen changer

A cylindrical double-station automatic screen changing system is adopted. With a pressure resistance of 25MPa, it is suitable for high-pressure injection of supercritical CO2, which avoids the leakage and air leakage of the conventional plate screen changer. Equipped with a comparative alarm for the pressure before and after the network, and a 10MPa oil pump hydraulic drive mode to realize the function of non-stop network change.

1.2, the next-stage extrusion system

200mm single screw extruder, length to diameter ratio 33:1, maximum variable 30r/min. The barrel is made of high-quality alloy steel, and the surface is nitrided. The heating adopts constant temperature heating oil. It is divided into 4 to 6 zones, and the maximum heating temperature is 250°C. The screw material is made of high-quality alloy steel, and the surface is nitrided. The heating is heated by variable frequency heating oil, and it is divided into 1 zone. The reduction box is a plastic-specific horizontal gear box equipped with Siemens motors.

Static mixer

The diameter is Φ200, and there are 4 mixing units. Constant temperature heating oil heating, 24kW mold temperature controller. Jacketed cooling channel, equipped with circulating softened water cooling system.

Extrusion mould

The T-type die head is designed in line with the characteristics of PS physical foaming materials. It is heated by circulating viscosity oil and PID self-tuning to adjust the temperature, which can accurately control the mold temperature within the process range. 2. Automatic feeding system

3. Combined foaming agent metering and injection system

3.1. CO2 blowing agent injection system

The applicable medium of the system is liquid CO2, multi-stage pressurized injection. It adopts frequency conversion speed regulation, high pressure flow meter, frequency conversion and automatic closed-loop control of flow. All components are integrated and installed on a frame, with compact structure, beautiful appearance and easy operation.

3.2. Ethanol injection system

Applicable medium is absolute ethanol, high-precision double-head plunger pump, using frequency conversion speed regulation, high pressure flow meter, frequency conversion, automatic closed-loop control of flow. Stable and reliable.

3.3. The third component injection system

Adopt high-precision plunger pump, flow rate 80L/h, use frequency conversion speed regulation, high pressure flow meter, frequency conversion, flow automatic closed-loop control.

4. Auxiliary system

4.1, setting machine

The shaping plate adopts the upper and lower splint method, PTFE material. The upper and lower plates can be raised and lowered electrically, and the front and rear angles can be adjusted separately. The size of the shaped board is 1500mm*1000 (customizable). The upper and lower plates are heated by heat-conducting oil, the oil temperature is up to 200, and PID is automatically controlled. The cooling method is external circulating water cooling.

4.2. Traction unit

The upper and lower structure multi-roller traction method is adopted, the roller surface width is 1500mm, the traction speed is 1-20m/min frequency conversion speed regulation, and the upper and lower roller frames can be lifted and lowered independently. Equipped with centering and rough milling functions.

4.3 Horizontal cutting machine

Profile steel frame, double-blade cutting, synchronous belt drive, PLC programmable automatic control system. The maximum cutting width is 1200mm, the maximum cutting thickness is 120mm, and the cutting length is adjustable from 1200 to 3500mm.

4.4. Napping machine and slotting machine are optional

5. Electrical control system

Adopt DCS intelligent control system, a combination of centralized control and segmented control. The centralized control is an industrial computer, equipped with: 21-inch industrial display, i5 processor, 8G memory, 256G solid hard disk. All main speeds, technological processes, and logic actions are integrated and displayed on the console. Can record and output parameters and process data. It has functions such as fault alarm and maintenance reminder; it can realize remote control, remote diagnosis, remote technical support, etc.
